Pondview Acres isn’t just a campground—it’s the beginning of our family’s dream. We purchased this 20-acre slice of nature with the long-term vision of building our retirement home here. But until that day comes, we’ve combined our love for camping with our appreciation for simplicity, privacy, and the outdoors to create a unique place where others can enjoy the land as much as we do.

Why We Started Pondview Acres

Through our own travels, we’ve stayed at every type of campground—from high-end resorts to remote wilderness escapes. What we found is that our most memorable trips weren’t about the amenities or attractions; they were about disconnecting from distractions and reconnecting with each other. We wanted to create a campground that embraces that feeling—a place where families, solo travelers, and outdoor lovers can enjoy peace, quiet, and nature.

A Family-Run Campground

We are a family operation, through and through. Led by husband and wife team Tracy and Angie, every aspect of Pondview Acres—from site construction to customer support to digital marketing—is handled by us. Nana and the girls even laid every inch of water pipe! We take pride in personally maintaining the property and making sure every guest feels welcomed.

We are constantly working to enhance Pondview Acres while keeping its rustic charm intact. Current improvements in progress include:

🔹 Full hookups for two RV sites  -  DONE!
🔹 Water access throughout the property  -  DONE!
🔹 Picnic tables at every campsite
🔹 Gravel tent pads for better site durability
🔹 A future bathhouse to provide additional convenience (we have a porta-potty until then!)
