What time is check-in and check-out? Our standard check-in begins at 2:00 PM, and check-out is by 12:00 PM (Noon). However, we pride ourselves on being flexible! If you need to arrive a little early or stay a bit later, just reach out to us, and we will do our best to make it happen.
Can a standard car reach the campground? Yes, standard sedans have no trouble getting here. Please note that our driveway is a rustic, unimproved surface. While it's perfectly fine most of the time, it can become slippery or muddy after heavy Alabama rain. If you’re visiting during a stormy week, just take it slow!
Will I have cell service? Verizon and AT&T service is generally usable but can be a bit spotty depending on where you are on the property. If you absolutely need to stay connected for work or emergency, we do offer Guest Wi-Fi—just ask us for the details!
Is there electricity at the sites? Our RV sites are equipped with 50/30/20 amp electric hookups. Tent sites are strictly off-grid, allowing you to fully unplug and enjoy the natural surroundings.
What are the bathroom facilities? We currently have a single, clean porta-potty available for all guests.
Is there drinking water available? Yes! There is a fresh water spigot located at the front gate that is available to all of our guests.
How do I handle my trash? We ask that you help us keep Pondview Acres beautiful. We have a dumpster conveniently located near the driveway for all your campsite trash.
Can I bring my dog? Absolutely! We are pet lovers. Dogs are welcome as long as they are well-behaved and kept under your control at all times to ensure the comfort of other guests and our neighbors.
Is fishing allowed in the pond? Yes, guests are welcome to fish! However, because we share the pond with our neighbors, all fishing is Catch & Release only.
What is the policy on campfires and firewood? Nothing beats a campfire under the stars. To prevent the spread of invasive pests, we ask that you do not bring outside wood. We sell bundles of locally-sourced firewood for $10 each right here on the property.
Are generators allowed? Yes, generators are permitted. To keep the atmosphere peaceful for everyone, we observe Quiet Hours from 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM.
Where is the closest place to get groceries or gas? You aren't far from civilization! There is a gas station and a Dollar General about 10 minutes away. For a full-fledged grocery store, you’re about a 25-minute drive from Troy, Ozark, or Enterprise.

Property Boundaries**: Respect our neighbors by staying within our clearly marked property boundaries.
Fire Safety: Fires are allowed only in designated fire rings or grills. Never leave a fire unattended, and make sure it is fully extinguished before leaving your site or going to sleep.
Fire Bans: Follow all posted fire bans or restrictions during periods of heightened fire risk. Fire ban updates will be communicated at check-in or posted around the campground.
Firewood: To prevent the spread of invasive pests and protect our natural environment, use only firewood purchased locally or provided on-site.
Speed Limit: Drive safely! The speed limit is 5 MPH throughout the campground to protect guests and wildlife.
Swimming: For your safety and to protect the ecosystem, swimming in the pond is not allowed. Enjoy its beauty from the shore!
Pets: Pets are welcome! Please keep them under control at all times. Remember to clean up after them and ensure they don't disturb other guests or neighboring properties.
Wildlife: Observe wildlife from a safe distance. Feeding, touching, or disturbing wild animals is strictly prohibited to ensure their safety and yours.
Plants and Trees: Help preserve the natural beauty of our campground by avoiding damage to trees, plants, and other natural features. This includes refraining from cutting branches for firewood or gathering plants.
Fishing: Fishing in the pond is at your own risk. Due to the unknown water quality and safety of eating the fish found within, we recommend catch-and-release fishing only. Thank you for your understanding.
In the event of an emergency, contact local authorities by dialing 911 immediately. For non-emergency issues, contact our off-site emergency point of contact by calling our listed phone number. Please Note: you will need to call twice within 30 seconds to bypass Do Not Disturb outside of our normal business hours.
Guests assume full responsibility for their safety and belongings while on the property. The campground owner is not liable for any damages, injuries, accidents, or property losses of any kind.
Look Up: We have incredibly low light pollution here. If you have a telescope or a pair of binoculars, bring them! On clear nights, the Milky Way is often visible to the naked eye.
The "Bama" Essentials: This is the beautiful outdoors, which means we have neighbors like mosquitoes, gnats, and fire ants. We recommend bringing your favorite bug spray so you can enjoy the pond-side views in comfort.
Morning Coffee by the Water: The pond is at its most serene right at sunrise. Bring a comfortable camp chair down to the water’s edge for the best seat in the house.
Download Offline Maps: While we have Wi-Fi and some cell service, the country roads leading to us can sometimes be "dead zones" for GPS. We recommend downloading your Google Maps area for offline use before you leave home.
Support Local: If you’re heading into the neighboring towns for supplies, check out the local farmers' markets or BBQ spots. We love sharing our favorites—just ask us for a recommendation!
